Is this Pinning normal?

So this is my third flush with this cake (first successful grow). I noticed that it seems like the veil is forming and tearing before full growth. Is this cake spent?

Sometimes the veil tears early, it's okay, don't worry :-)

As long as your cake produce mushrooms and there are no signs of contamination, it's not spent ;-)
