Two Questions...
Here is a picture of my AIO grow bag of JMF. I noticed it was pinning so I am trying to fruit it. But I have a couple of questions. First. Is that mold? There is kind of a fuzzy spot. You can see it at the top of the pic. Second. I am going on vacation in a week so what do I do with this thing while I am gone? I didn't think it would take off as fast as it did so I wasn't anticipating this. I will be gone for a week. Thanks for any input.

Shroomok's choice on Amazon
Hello and welcome on forum!

I don't see any signs of mold. It's just mycelium, and it's fine! Some fuzziness may be due to lack of fresh air exchange (FAE) or it's just tomentose mycelium type.

Let your shrooms grow over the next week while you're at home. 1-2 days before your vacation, harvest ALL the mushrooms, big and small, ALL of them. Then rehydrate the cake in cold water for 2-4 hours and leave it to fruit as before. Check out: Rehydration guide
Important note! Make sure the air filter in your bag is dry (othewise FAE won't work properly). You can also leave a small gap in a bag and cover it with micropore tape for additional FAE.
It usually takes 3-10 days to trigger the new flush after rehydration. So by the time you return home, you’ll probably find new small pins, but they still won’t be mature yet.
Enjoy your vacation :-)
Thanks for the advice. I will do that and hopefully be ready to start a second flush as soon as I get back.
If you need to initiate the 2nd flush AFTER your vacation you can rehydrate the cake, put it in a plastic bag and store in a refrigerator at 5-15C as long as you need ;-)
This option is great if you're out of home for over 2 weeks and you can store the cake in this way for up to 2-3 months
Then just put the cake in fruiting conditions as before and that's it!
