See the agar transfer sucked up the color? And the rings and the alternating types of mycelium growth

This one has some cool rings - mycelium growth on agar

This too, was once blue. Similar pink hues

I poured 10 plates and a couple jars all at the same time. Only one's questionable were the 2 above and the jar. But just to see what happens I'll transfer some

They were all a pretty royal blue. As you can see, three ate the color, while one did not. It’s just what they do. Well… some of them

This one will start making pinks and purples soon. You can see the very beginnings of pink around the cloned fruit in the middle. Tidal wave clone that grew in another dish

Is it a bad sign to have growth on the surface of liquid culture? Looks like mycelium but I’ve never seen it grow on the top before
