Stalled pins/aborts/stoma?

hi all,

I clearly did somehting wrong here and these little guys have been in this state for a month. Ive upped the FAE and have had a dozen or so full grown mushrooms harvested from this crop. but these little guys seem like thats where theyre staying. Are these safe to eat is my main question?

Such stalled mushrooms are aborts and they won't grow anymore. However, they are safe. Harvest them, dry and use.

Also I'd suggest to rehydrate the cake in cold water for a few hours in order to get a new flush, maybe even better than this one. Best of luck!
