Contamination or just bruising?

So I let a friend of mine babysit by grow bag while I was out of town for a few days. Everything was going great so I thought what the heck he should be able to handle it with some instructions. He clearly messed up the FAE. I have fuzzy feet everywhere. That part I'm not so worried about because I know that's ok but there are some blue spots on the mushrooms and one on the cake....I'm guessing it's ok since it's not green and powdery but I wanted verification from more experienced people. Thanks in advance!

Hey hey! Welcome on forum

Yes, there are bruised mushrooms (see Bruising) and some aborts (see Mushroom aborts). Also, it seems like your cake and environment in the bag are too dry. Nothing critical actually, it's manageable.

First of all, mist the walls of your bag in order to increase humidity in the bag. But avoid misting on mushrooms and mycelium! Don't fan the bag extremely hard, just open it for 1 min 3-4 times/day.

I'd give this cake 5 days, no more! Then harvest all mushrooms, big and small, ALL! And rehydrate the cake for 2-4 hrs. After Rehydration the next flush will be way better ;-)

Thanks! Since I returned I have started misting regularly and making sure it gets FAE. There are a few I plan to harvest today as the veils have broken but I was thinking the same thing as far as giving it a few more days to see how much more growth I can get. All in all I'd say it worked out OK as my friend is not much of a grower but the cake didn't die so it's all good.
