Hello! How old is this bag?

The mushrooms on the top look absolutely fine here:

The bluish color is just Mycelium bruising, it's not mold here:

It's bruising – not mold!

Some shrooms with black or crusty, dry caps in the lower layer seem to be Aborts. However, such color changes and deformations can also be caused by mild bacterial or Verticillium contamination.

Anyway, properly dried mushrooms (even with mild bacterial or Verticillium) are absolutely safe. Just toss the ones that feel spongy or have rotting lesions.

Do you feel any smell (cider-like, fermented, rotten, or sweet-sour)?
