  Hello,Your cakes and mushrooms are absolutely fine and healthy! To be 100% sure, could you pls show me the bottom of your cakes?You're right, the bluish patch here is just Mycelium bruisingBruising patchSide pinning and mushrooms growing from the sides are also not a problem.Side pinningIt’s also normal that your shrooms are growing at different speeds between cakes and even within the same cake, since you used multispore genetics rather than an isolated culture. Think of them like kids in kindergarten – the same age, but they look and develop differently :-)For now, just let your shrooms do their job – let them grow. Harvest them once they are ready. Check out: Flush #1. When and how to pick mushrooms. They should be ready within the next 2-5 days. Don't be afraid to remove the cake from the plastic jar to harvest the side-growing mushrooms.After harvesting soak your cakes in water for 2-4 hours.
