First time growing PE’s. Lots of blobs. I used a casing layer the day i spawned them, maybe i should’ve waited for surface colonization before casing? Any input?

Hey curious to know how these developed? Did they grow big and give you a nice flush?
Less than if they were normal full-grown mushrooms. But mutant blobs were fine and there were some normal mature mushrooms as well. They weren't weighted
Sweet I’ve got some that look exactly like that cake right now so I was curious lol
The 2nd-3rd flushes may be better, so just let them grow ;)
You can also try to add casing or pseudo-casing layer — very often it is a game changer!
