Attempting PF tech with some old elm oyster spores I collected from a harvest in October 2022. I did a couple drops on an agar plate to make sure there was no contamination and everything was clear. Spores we’re stored in a 32oz mason jar that’s been in the refrigerator since the collection. On the bottom I have hydrated rye grain and on top is a mixture of finely ground straw and hydrated hardwood pellets. Sterilized in these jars and inoculated with 2cc of spore water. There are 5 jars in total which is roughly the same equivalent to one grow bag. The goal is to speed up the process and eliminate grain transfer to bags. I’ll let you know how it goes! 🙂 🤓 #2
