Thermoelectric 12V Cooler/Warmer. What are thoughts on using this for spawn jars?

What are thoughts on using something like this for jars (brf cakes). The black thing is the power cable, the white think on the right is the heater/cooler module that is part of it. I am only considering it because I already have it. Would put a temp controler on the power supply
