What're the chances this jar survives those wet grains? Almost fully colonized but a couple spots with too much moisture Shroomok comment: it's bacteria contamination with smelly slime at the bottom. Mycelium can win, but there are too much moisture and too low chances in such case. Toss this jar or use healthy parts of mycelium (on top only). The next time add 1 tbsp of vermiculite at the bottom of the jar, it helps to absorb moisture in such cases. And try to cook grain not so long (al dente) and drain it for longer to have ideal moisture balance for mycelium
